Main Street in Daytona Beach, Florida becomes packed with bikers, motorcycles and motorcycle enthusiast for two big events a year. Bike Week Daytona scheduled just before spring in March is considered one of the" big 3 " motorcycle rallies in the United States. Many say it is the largest biker event of the year attracting over 500,000 visitors. Almost all of these visitors ride up main street at least once during their stay. They come to visit the Daytona bars, shops and vendor stands that line the street from end to end. The 2nd event Biketoberfest ® happens later on during October each year. Biketober is considerably smaller in size visitor wise. Yet, most like it for just that reason. The traffic and lines are smaller, easier to get hotel accommodations and bike week camping with almost the same activities.
